Q1. Can I join from anywhere in the world?

A: Yes, you can join from anywhere in the world via Zoom.


Q2. What ingredients and cooking tools are needed for the lessons?

A: You will receive a recipe and a list of ingredients and tools one week before the lesson.


Q3. What should I do if I cannot prepare the ingredients or tools after booking?

A: Please contact me before the lesson. I can suggest alternative ingredients or tools.


Q4. Can I participate if I cannot speak Japanese?

A: Yes. Lessons are primarily in English, but if you understand some Japanese, I can include Japanese explanations as needed. Cooking steps are visual, so you can follow along even without full language comprehension.


Q5. Can I participate if I cannot speak English?

A: Yes. If you understand simple English or a little Japanese, I can guide you using both languages. Cooking is mostly visual, so you can follow along by watching my demonstration and gestures. Please contact me before the lesson if you have language concerns.


Q6. How long is each lesson?

A: Lessons vary by recipe and number of dishes. Each lesson typically lasts 30 to 90 minutes.


Q7. What payment methods are available?

A: Payment is accepted via PayPal. If you cannot use PayPal, please contact me by email before booking. Alternative options may take some time to arrange.


Q8. Can beginners participate?

A: Yes. All recipes are designed so that beginners can cook them alone after the lesson. Step-by-step guidance is provided during the lesson.


Q9. Can I request special or custom menus?

A: Currently, Fully Customized Online Lessons are listed as “Coming Soon” and bookings are not yet available. If you would like a custom lesson, please submit your request via the Request Form on the website. It may take some time to arrange the lesson, but I will do my best to accommodate your request.


Q10. When do I need to complete payment?

A: For the Recommended and Seasonal Menu lessons, please complete payment at least 3 days before the lesson. Your booking will be confirmed after payment is completed.


Q11. Can I participate with friends or family from the same location?

A: Yes. Up to 3 participants can join from the same kitchen. One person should make payment via PayPal, and all materials and communications will be sent to the group representative.


Q12. How are the lessons conducted?

A: All lessons are conducted online using Zoom. If you do not have the Zoom app, please install it before the lesson.


Q13. I don’t know how to use Zoom. What should I do?

A: Zoom is easy to use. Please check the app and test your connection before the lesson.


Q14. What happens if I cannot prepare the main ingredients on the day of the lesson?

A: If the main ingredients are not available, cooking will be difficult. In that case, you will follow my demonstration instead.
